The food was more than modest. Sausage salad tasteless, devil toastconsisted of toasted toast and burnt pork steak, drowned in a fad ready cocktail sauce.In addition to half-cooked ready-made fries and an unadjusted Salat.Ein disaster.Positive the very friendly service.You do not have to go there a second time.

Very tasty roast pork and cheese spätzle. The tavern is built very winding which creates a homely atmosphere. Our dog could make himself comfortable under a corner seat to relax. Friendly, courteous service! Perfect evening :)

We were there twice within 3 days and tried different dishes. Everything was great and all the dishes were homemade. We had short waiting times and were served by very friendly staff. They also responded to all special requests. Always my pleasure :)

The service was very friendly!!! But this could not upgrade a not toasted toast, a two times killed pork steak and TK Pommes, sauce from the bucket without taste. Too bad but absolutely not recommended for people with healthy taste.

We came here spontaneously. The waiter ignored us at first and seemed to be having a bad day. Kindness excluded. I was very disappointed when my cheese spaetzle came because they were not - as announced in the menu - with roasted onions (and as can be seen in other pictures). Also very diluted, creamy taste. Hardly any cheese. The schnitzel was definitely freshly tapped, but unfortunately you could taste the same flavor-enhancing spice here as with the cheese spaetzle. Not nearly as lovingly done as seen in previous reviews. Too bad, but not recommended.

Was on the whole OK. The room we sat in was very loud. I had hoped for a little more of the food according to the map. With a booking of 25 x deer the cranberries must not go out. The combination of wild with lenses OK, but then not just lenses inconsequential.

A restaurant according to our taste! Service is very important here, even in the stressful holiday business. We were there with eight people and all the dishes were great, from the taste to the portion at a pleasant price. We would like to come back again, but it is rightly booked out the next evenings. The next time you visit the Königssee, a reservation in this great restaurant is a must for us.

Is very idyllic under old trees. Small, cozy beer garden, as there used to be many.The card reads classically, everything you would expect here. The beer cold and tasty, the roast pork crispy and the dumplings loose.And if things are not going so quickly because of Covid, the good mood doesn't stop.

Excellent food in a rustic atmosphere. The service was also always impeccable on our visits. With us it always worked out well to get a table. Reservations are recommended for dinner and in larger groups.

Family restaurant with very good atmosphere and fantastic food. The restaurant is located in a house, where each room is a different environment and decorated with photos and local articles. Great beer.

We were twice in the Grünsteinstüberl for dinner. Overall, we liked it so much. The food was delicious, the portions were a good size and were affordable. Price-performance is right. We sat both times in the lobby with many regulars. Here comes a great home-like atmosphere in the living room. On both evenings we were very well served and felt in good hands. Our waitress Antonia on the first evening was a very eager and friendly service, unfortunately she had at the end of the evening a surprise ready: € 3 titled "drinks divers" were on our bill although we had ordered anything like that. We suspect that this was a self-calculated tip. On the second evening with another nice waiter we had nothing like that on the bill.

Super nice staff, delicious food, spaetzle with sauce for the little ones free of charge and for a really not too long waiting time as an excuse a stamper gentian - that is worth a generous tip! Great!

Very comfortably furnished. Stayed there several times during our vacations in autumn 2018 and January 2019. Food and service always good. Prices also fit. In September last year we unfortunately had some bad luck with my wife's food. The ordered fish plate came to the table lukewarm. After complaining about this, the plate was taken with a little resentment and a few minutes later another waiter brought it back to the table without any comment. Unfortunately, without a word of apology. Unfortunately, a pardon of apologies at a later date also failed to materialize. Too bad. Since we could not be provided with information about the candlelight menu planned for a birthday a few days later, this time we stayed with this one visit.We will certainly give the Grünsteinsüberl a new chance in autumn, as the food is really delicious and hopefully we just had bad luck with the service last time.

Very quaint, twisty restaurant with hearty food. We always come back on vacation, because the vegan dish changes and it is always very delicious and varied. Service is great and the beer garden makes a good deal.

Although waited a bit longer for the food, but delicious. Hats off to the wait staff and the staff in the kitchen, full house but always friendly.
